How to boost feminine confidence is the topic for today as it is International Woman's Day and therefore I decided to devote this post to feminine power! Keep on reading my ten tips on how to become more confident, powerful, strong, and seductive woman.
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE #1 TIP: SUPERWOMAN POSE!
In 2012, Harvard Business School professor Amy Cuddy gave a famous TED Talk on the benefits of "power-posing", which she discovered in rigorous research with her team. She explained how changing our body language can help us change our physiology as well! Obtaining a power pose body language, like the "superwoman pose", with hands on the hips for example for just two minutes boosts testosterone level in our body, which in return makes us feel more confident in an instant! Anytime you feel like you need a confidence boost, stand in the superwoman pose for two minutes. It's that easy!
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #2: WEAR RED COLOUR CLOTHES, ACCESSORIES, AND LIPSTICK
Other rigorous psychological research have found that people perceive us more confident when we wear red colour clothes! Also, red colour can give us a confidence boost too, as colours affect our mood and emotions.
Wearing red colour clothes, or even accessories can help you feel and look more confident to other people. Research has also confirmed that man rate woman who wear red colour dress and lipstick as more attractive! So, the perfect choice for the date is not "little back dress" as science shows, but the red dress! :))
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #3: HIGH HEELS FOR HIGH LEVEL CONFIDENCE
As we know now, changing our body language can affect our confidence level. If we walk around with our back curved and shoulders down, we will feel and look less confident. Wearing high heels can help us to "fix" our body posture in seconds! Our back will straighten up, our head all go up, and so will our confidence!
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #4: BUILD "CORE" CONFIDENCE
We also want to feel and look super confident even after we remove our high heels shoes and therefore we need to have strong and straight back posture!
Practicing any kind of physical activity that will help us to strengthen our back and our core can help us greatly to change our body posture (for example yoga, pilates, strength exercises, or swimming).
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #5: FEMININE DANCES FOR FEMININE CONFIDENCE
Feminine dances which include hips movement (like belly dancing, hip hop, latino dances, tango, poll dancing...) can help us to increase our confidence as a woman, overcome body shame, and even common sexual inhibitions. Zumba fitness can also be a fun way to incorporate feminine movement and exercise together.
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #6: SELF CARE
I cannot address the importance of self care for a woman! Self care should be a priority, not a luxury. If you have read my previous blog post about increasing self love you know that the way we treat ourselves will be reflected in the way other people are treating us.
When we are drained, and we do not devote enough time, money, and attention to self care, we feel drained, exhausted, and very often less attractive as well.
That low vibe state can not only wrack our confidence, but also we will be attracting very low vibe things and people in our life. By not devoting enough time to self care, we are sending a message to our subconscious mind and to the Universe that we do not love and value ourselves enough. In return, the Universe will mirror it back to us by giving us people in our life who will not value us, feelings of low confidence and self worth, having to struggle and hustle hard to earn money (as money is a symbol for value exchange), and partners who will not be giving us enough attention or time or not find us worthy.
Make sure that you devote time and money to yourself and self care! That is the pillard to confidence and high vibe life!
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #7: HEAL THE BODY SHAME WOUNDS
Body shame is one of the most common reasons that women feel low confidence and self worth. Body shame can start in the childhood when we were told we are not pretty enough or we are less pretty than our sister. In our teens when our first crush rejected us or we were not feeling attractive enough. While growing up and comparing ourselves constantly to photo shopped models in the magazines (who did the shoot after spending hours in the hands of beauty experts). It can develop as a result of being brought up in puritanism culture environment and we were thought by our mothers, and grandmothers that sex is dirty and sinful thing, or attracting man's attention is "bad" behaviour... and so on. Sexual trauma can also be a big contributor to this.
Whatever the reason is, it is really important to heal the body shame wounds. Feelings of confidence and body shame cannot coexist together.
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #8: BOOST CONFIDENCE WITH AFFIRMATIONS AND EMPOWERING SELF TALK
We cannot feel confident if we are telling ourselves (and to other people around us) how we are shy, not very confident, or we lack courage and self esteem. We have to change our story. Identify any "self belittling" talk you may be telling, and start replacing it with self empowering talk. If you feel like it is too "unrealistic" for you to talk how you ARE confident, then start telling more positive story, like that you are now building your confidence or you ar working on becoming the most confident self you can be.
Affirmations are a great practice to boost confidence as well. Make sure that you read positive affirmations for building confidence out loud every singe morning in front of the mirror, or just when you wake up, like for example :
I AM WORTHY, I AM CONFIDENT, I AM POWERFUL, I CAN ACHIVE ANYTHING I SET MY MIND ONTO, I AM BEAUTIFUL, I AM SMART, I AM STRONG, I DECIDE TO TUNE IN INTO MY POWERFUL FEMININE ENERGY TODAY AND FEEL LIKE A GODDESS, I AM ATTRACTIVE, I LOVE MYSELF DEEPLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY!
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #9: LOVE YOURSELF DEEPLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY
In my previous blog post about self love you could read that the relationship we have with ourselves is the foundation for all other relationships in our life. Only when we love ourselves deeply and unconditionally and take good care of ourselves we will feel worthy and confident from within.
There is nothing more that can wrack our confidence and get us into low vibe state than self judgement, self criticism, and being harsh with ourselves. Self compassion, self love, and self forgiveness are the key to building the core confidence within!
BOOST FEMININE CONFIDENCE TIPS #10: CONFIDENCE COACHING
Limiting beliefs that we hold about ourselves are very difficult to overcome on our own, because we cannot get out of our own head and since these are subconscious beliefs, they are hard to recognise and identify without the help of an expert.
